America's worst court, San Francisco's 9th Circuit, abolishes the War Memorial Cross

On Friday of last week, the infamous 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco - the nation's most leftist and ineffective appeals court - continued its anti-Christian jihad as it refused to rehear the case of the Mount Soledad War Memorial Cross being removed by various liberal state and federal judges.  This beautiful 29-foot cross sits on public land on a mountain overlooking the Pacific Ocean which has been seen by countless millions over the decades.  It was dedicated in 1954 in honor of Korean War veterans. 
 
The equally infamous American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) - a rabidly anti-Christian organization - has been fighting to get this war memorial cross removed for over a decade.  The ACLU and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals have been working in tandem to rid God and Christianity from the public square.
 
One of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals' most egregious - many conservatives say lawless - judges, the Ninth Circuit's Stephen Reinhardt (appointed, of course, by Jimmy Carter,) was reversed twice in one day by the United States Supreme Court this year.  Some say Reinhardt - whose wife was a big pooh-bah at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) - is the most left-wing judge on the nation's most left-wing court.  Those two cases in which Reinhardt was reversed by the Supreme Court were murder convictions for which he authored opinions overturning these convictions. 
 
The "moderate" swing-vote on the Supreme Court, Justice Anthony Kennedy, actually accused Reinhardt of "judicial disregard." The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals had, in the last judicial term, 19 of its 26 decisions looked at by the U.S. Supreme Court overturned; by far the worst record of any of the appeals courts in America.  It is long past time for this court to broken up by the United States Congress into two much smaller courts.  Additionally, the Congress needs to dramatically cut the number of federal judges in America.
 
The 9th Circuit Court is such a disgrace that 30% of the 84 cases taken up by the U.S. Supreme Court were from that court.  Even the left-wing justices on the United States Supreme Court disagreed with many of the flawed decisions coming from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.   So much so, that 12 of its rulings were unanimously overturned by the Supreme Court justices including the court's four liberals. Indeed, the Supreme Court justices have expressed anger because the 9th Circuit judges are so lawlessly ignoring Supreme Court precedent.
 
Retired Air Force Colonel Bruce S. Baily, president of the Mount Soledad Memorial Association, was quoted in yesterday's "The Washington Times" as saying:  "People want this veteran's memorial to remain as it is, from the thousands who visit it each month to honor our nation's veterans, to the 76% of San Diegans who voted to give it to the federal government as a national veterans' memorial." 
 
Without any doubt, this recent abominable ruling of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals - allowing removal of the Mount Soledad War Memorial Cross - will be reversed by the United States Supreme Court at some point in time; hopefully sooner, rather than later.
